I've been tagged (again) - I'll make it short and sweet:
10 years ago: I was attending UVSC, loving serving on Institute Council, working at Nu Skin, searching for my prince charming...
5 things on my to-do list today: 1. Nurse 2. Nurse 3. Nurse 4. Nurse 5. Nurse. Life with a newborn! Notice there's no sleep listed anywhere!
What I would do if I were suddenly made a billionaire: 1. Bigger house (we need more bedrooms) 2. 5 Snacks I enjoy: 1. chips & salsa 2. graham crackers & milk 3. chocolate milk 4. fruit 5. wheat thins
5 places I have lived: 1. Provo, UT 2. Springville, UT 3. Overland Park, KS 4. Henderson, NV 5. Orem, UT
5 jobs that I have had: 1. Babysitting 2. Piano Teacher 3. Receptionist 4. Nu Skin - Product Development & International Marketing 5. MOM/WIFE (the best by far!)
5 things you don't know about me: 1. I hate oatmeal 2. I have a hard time taking naps 3. I don't like talking on the phone 4. I love fires (in my cozy fireplace) 5. I love hot baths

More Ammon
Aren't newborns the best!?! I could just sit and hold this sweet little guy all day. Here he's just a few days old...the first pic with his eyes open...
Here he is sleeping through his first bath at home...
Okay so that didn't last very long! He only cried for a bit Here he is today - One Week Old
Also today...he put himself to sleep with his thumb. How cute is that!

We are all doing well and getting adjusted to life with a newborn. The other kids have welcomed him into the family with lots of hugs and kisses - they have been really great and good helpers to Mommy too. I'm starting to think I might actually survive having four kids! Of course I never could have made it through the last week without all the fantastic help we've received from family and friends...especially Mark's parents...THANK YOU!

Feeling flexible?
I guess I'm cheating for this post - I stole this picture off Steph's blog but thought it was too good to pass up...this is Mark playing the paper bag game last weekend at Brandon's birthday party. I was amazed at how flexible he ended up being - especially in his suit pants! I guess since it didn't involve hamstrings he was a pro. I was confined to the sidelines since I can't even tie my shoes anymore, let alone put my nose on the ground, but I'm determined to give this game a go once I'm back to my old self...watch out brown nosers (ha ha)!

Ready and Waiting!
Well, I think I'm officially ready for this baby to be born. Now that Christmas is over and we're going through the post-holiday let down, I'm getting really anxious. I finally packed my hospital bag today...the last thing on my list. His bassinet is set up, the clothes and blankies are all washed and organized, and I've got lots of diapers on hand - although you can never underestimate the ability of a newborn in that department! We've had some yucky sicknesses going through our family the past week, so hopefully that'll get all cleared out before he's born - the last thing I want to do is bring him home to a germ-filled house. I saw the doctor today and the good news is I've started dilating and effacing...the bad news is he said it's not necessarily a reason to expect an early delivery. But having never reached my due date before, I naturally have that expectation this time...Mark asked me the other day if I was getting nervous and I said I'm more nervous that I'll have to carry this baby for three more weeks than about the actual delivery!! Wish me luck!
